Mother earth, to me, represents all that we humans are surrounded with; The earth, nature, the oceans, space, the moon, etc. In this painting I wanted to highlight the sun.
I wanted to create something that would captivate you and fill you up with positivity. The sun symbols are representing warmth, light and life.
The clay/desert/brown colours are representing nature; the accessibility and the force. The white on the top and bottom are influenced by my liking of unfinished works. It leaves room for more interpretation of the viewer.
The woman is Mother Earth. As if with her strength she allows us to make use of the sun.
The gold represent the value while the blue stands for positivity.
